In Evan Sayet’s video, he spoke to us all about the holy canon of liberalism, developing the indiscriminate mind. Believing say, that one religious choice is better than another one, or not one at all, actually having a conviction in other words, is a sign of an inferior mind. It is a sign of having the commonly used pejorative “neanderthal” mind. To me, if you really believe in your religion, and are going to structure the household you raise your children in around it, you better think your choice is the best one, or what did you make it for? The two most striking thing in this “I’m like, a Muslim” video, is that the secular society and essentially conviction-less household she grew up in LEFT HER EMPTY IN THE DEEPEST AND MOST PROFOUND OF WAYS. She was left with an intolerable spiritual emptiness, and had to go fending for it herself, since she wasn’t getting it from secular America or a father who apparently lacks such commitment in his own religion, that the only thing that came to mind was that she was a “freethinker”. He thought that this was just awesome, about the best thing she could do. She was abandoning the traditional, and embracing it’s most direct challenge. Liberal Dogma at It’s Finest. It’s better to be a free thinker, than a good thinker, apparently. When asked what he thought when she told him she was leaving the family’s religion and choosing Islam, her father also says “I wasn’t that surprised”. What the hell does that mean? He wasn’t surprised because his own faith was dying on the vine, maybe? It’s somewhere between hilarious and tragic that so many are so unable to defend their faith; that they are almost ashamed of it. What has caused this, and if you think it’s good, please explain why. Had he no convictions of his own that society supported and were as spiritually fulfilling to her as they have been for millions before her? There is no way of knowing any of the answers from this snippet of video, but the possibility that the spiritual emptiness of secularism, and the wishy washy attitude toward God in the modern “sophisticated” home, are leading young converts to Islam is certainly something worth studying. Make no bones about it, Allah wants your children if your God doesn’t it. And clearly your children want a God. And the population of Islam, including your friends’ parents in Islam, will bring your children to God, if you and your church won’t. They’re lives are built around their religion. And we can deride religion, but why do all of our children seek God? What if there is a God, and what if our society so fails the nurturing of that God in our children, that so inept in our responsibility they are left abandoned in the spiritual wilderness? And why are so many modern scientists turning to God? God and Religion once worked hand in hand. Their divorce was a man-made sham, but we don’t have time for all that here. Let us not forget Leftism’s problem with religion: if you think you have the right to discriminate and determine what is good, especially in terms of a religious doctrine, you are a neanderthal-minded, automatically, if inadvertantly, evil man.
