The Arab media speaks out of both sides of its mouth. I seem to recall after Saddam brutilized Kuwait, the Arab press was talking the smae nonsense about “peaceful solutions”. They ought to shutup and let Musharaf call his own shots.

I just wonder what the fatcats in Saudi and the Gulf states would say about such an operation on their home turf? Overreaction or self-defense?

Well, they just might get their big chance at such a scenario in their own countries if the useful idiots in Congress get their way vis vis and early withdrawl from Iraq.

If the western press is the prostitute of freedom then who’s whore is the Arab press?

i wrote a comment on the article by arab news (of course they dont print any commentary) the commentary essentially said that the arab news forgets or is plain ignorant of the fact that blaming outside entitities is truly an arab/muslim rite of passage that has gone on througout history, ignoring the fact that the originator of war mongering in the muslim livelihood is none other than muhammed himself who told his follower to “kill the unbeliever whereever you find him”.

While ignoring the 100’s of injunctions by muhammed to kill unbelievers, muslims continue to blame outside forces for their murderous track record. from the pagan arabs, to the jews and christians, to the crusaders, israel, great britain and the USA , muslims will stop at nothing to suggest that these entities are what cause them to “defend themselves”. yet these entities do not have it in theiir creeds or holy books to go out and kill the muslims whereever they find them now do they.

Islam wil not survive , If we keep fighting them, they will lose a great number of followers. through death and conversion because their foundation is on fear and their religion is ideologically based. there is nothing spiritual about murder. eventually the so called moderates will confront this reality and turn away from these idiots they call imams, sheiks, mufti’s etc. the blind leading the blind.

from yahoo…”In neighboring Afghanistan, a senior Taliban commander, Mansoor Dadullah, urged Muslims to launch suicide attacks on Pakistani security forces, calling the assault “a cruel act.”

“I would have sent 10,000 mujahideen to support the (Red Mosque) students but we are busy in Afghanistan and Islamabad is far from Afghanistan. I wished to go myself to support them,” he told The Associated Press in a telephone interview.

Buerg.. so the reaction to ”a cruel act” is to send waves of suicide bombers into Pakistan to blew up pre-schools, markets, and other civilian targets??

Someone buy Dadullah a ticket to Islamabad. I’m sure the Paki’s have a few more rounds of ammo left.
