It seems that the Iranians have adopted those old rockets to newer laucher tactics. If I'm not mistaken they were also used during the VN conflict, along with 122mm. Nothing "new" here...except that maybe the Iranians are getting more bold. You're not going to stop them unless you take the war to them. For every Iranian rocket attack there should be a massive response against Iranian military targets inside Iran. This is what they want, because they are under the mistaken impression that they can survive a massive air assault against them. That's how big their heads are. If they want to make a statement to the locals they need to deploy more defensive measures. Secondly, They know the range of the weapons the need several UAV's to just cap a circular pattern over the bases.
