A little related:

We had a young troop in Basic who made the mistake of calling his weapon a “gun”. This was on a Friday when the rest of us were on our three-day pass for the weekend.

Despite the fact it was a hot summer day in S.C. and there were civilian family members present, the baddest D.I. in our Basic Training Company made this fool run around the company area shouting “This is my rife(while raising his M-16 over his head), this is my gun(while grabbing his nuts) this is for killing(Rifle in the air again) and this is for fun(again grabbing his own balls).

All this took place while he was dressed in boots, socks, and his boxer shorts. The D.I. ran him until he dropped. And just for shits and giggles, he sent him to recycle battalion for some “log PT”…if you know what I mean…

R.Lee would have been proud….
