Far be it from me to call them liberals. For years I've thought of them as totally self-absorbed psychotic control freaks.

I wouldn't be so worried about the DailyKos Dems. There are still plenty of Dems with common sense out there. And there is no way that these dems are insane enough to support a leftist agenda.

I'd be real careful if I was the Dem party. There are many Dems who are becomming more independent precisely because of the insanity that they see comming from Soros, and moveon.

If the Dems continue to alienate this group, they are going to see many of their members leave their party.

I see a schism comming to the Dems similar to what happened to them in 1980.

So be advised Demorats, not everyone in your party is a DailyKos kid. But keep pandering to them and watch your party split apart.

Dan, from your keyboard to God's ears, my friend. I, too, cannot believe that the voice and face of the democRat party is represented by the Kossacksoshit and the likes of HuffnPuffPo, etc. My wife is a democrat (small R) and is socially left of my positions but she doesn't think cut and run is a good strategy and sometimes, she comes out with opinions that are far from liberal. So you are probably right. Those democrats don't get much in the way of publicity or air time. Plus they are probably always discounted when the MSM conducts their polls that match the template of their agenda.

"What two leading Democratic presidential candidates say about the liberal label:

Hillary Clinton, 2007: “It has been turned up on its head, and it’s been made to seem as though it is a word that describes big government, totally contrary to what its meaning was in the 19th and early 20th century. I prefer the word ‘progressive.’ ”

Barack Obama, 2004: “I think that these labels of liberal and conservative are outdated. The notion that I am ultraliberal is not going to be borne out in the facts.”"

You have to love these quotes. The Queen is actually describing the idealogical positioning of the democRat party, not liberalism. The Savior has actually erroneously predicted what we already know. That the facts have shown how ultra-liberal he and all the other dem candidates are. Ultra-loony-liberals.
