Nuke Mecca

WASHINGTON (CNN) — Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo’s campaign stood by his assertion that bombing holy Muslim sites would serve as a good “deterrent” to prevent Islamic fundamentalists from attacking the United States, his spokeswoman said Friday.

“This shows that we mean business,” said Bay Buchanan, a senior Tancredo adviser. “There’s no more effective deterrent than that. But he is open-minded and willing to embrace other options. This is just a means to deter them from attacking us.”

On Tuesday, Tancredo warned a group of Iowans that another terrorist attack would “cause a worldwide economic collapse.” IowaPolitics.com recorded his comments.

“If it is up to me, we are going to explain that an attack on this homeland of that nature would be followed by an attack on the holy sites in Mecca and Medina,” Tancredo said. “That is the only thing I can think of that might deter somebody from doing what they would otherwise do. If I am wrong, fine, tell me, and I would be happy to do something else. But you had better find a deterrent, or you will find an attack.”

Tom Casey, a deputy spokesman for the State Department, told CNN’s Elise Labott that the congressman’s comments were “reprehensible” and “absolutely crazy.” Tancredo was widely criticized in 2005 for making a similar suggestion.

Typical State Department drivel! When at war all actions of the State Department should be cleared by the Pentagon.

That is the words of a lunatic.

He wants to partake in wanton killing and destruction of sites that have no strategic value other than to terrorize

We are better than that and am disappointed to hear this from him.

We are not at war with all of the Muslim community, just the insane radicals within it

Great idea. A kind of MAAD 21st century style strategy. Frankly, I prefer the Nuke Mecca idea best. Fuck the State Department. Damn bunch of Beltway clerks.

  4. Clyde Conneer

Amen Amen. The State Compartment is full of certifiably insane appeasement monkeys.

He’s certainly putting the ball in their court.

I say we nuke the State Dept. first. Then nuke Mecca and Medina when they all meet for their holy week and we can take out several hundred thousand of those bastards.

Yeah, not sure I’m in complete agreement with Tom on this either, Steve in NC …

However, I do get so damn sick of hearing the MSM (and Muslims) refer to every stinking chunk of land, or gathering of walls and roof as “Islam’s Most Holy ya-da-ya-da …” It’s as if it’s designed to make everything sanctified so it’s off limits to us, but a good tactical position for them to operate from.

If they nuke us, we nuke Mecca. Sounds good!

  9. mindy abraham

If we do that we are guaranteed to be attacked, I do not doubt it. We will be in the wrong if we start attacking things willy nilly without any real strategic value. We must attack things only of value-without hesitation.

I’m all for turning Tehran into a modern day Dresden, it is the capital and is a strategic target.

The State Dept. is chock-a-block full of pussies who live in a vacuum tube it appears. Honestly, they should have said nothing and let the comments slide into oblivion. They didn’t, because they are knee-jerk reactionaries who have for some reason come to believe that being a bunch of pussies is glorious. I think the word is ‘deluded’, but those of you who took more psychology than I did may know better.

I would not like to bomb any holy sites out of vindictiveness, but a madrass or mosque where the hate spewers are, kind of turn those places into weapons in a way. How far removed is it from say taking fire from a minarette? Evil will use the mantle of goodness as a weapon, just like the hadjis using ambulances to transport weapons and secret muj leaders around. This really is a hard question. Right now it would be an all or nothing deal, kill ‘em all and let God sort them out kind of thing is what you would have to do. I’m not sure pissing off the balance of the muslim world that way is worth it unless we come out and finally say that the muslim world is our enemy. “Sharpen thine swords and go onward Christian soldiers”, Crusades II, the movie.

It’s a catch 22 situation, damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

Nuke congress, then after that nuke whatever the hell you want to. well make sure some of the Republicans are out first. Naa not really but i am pissed off at them right now. Nuking Mecca would motivate the entire muslim population to strap on a vest, then there would be a draft and it would most definitely become a life or death struggle. I say fuck it, they attack us again and we should push the button.

Mr. President you have 10 seconds to confirm

I have mixed feelings on this. I started out saying to myself “FUCK ALL OF MECCA!!!” but the more I read and thought I came to the conclusion that if we did that I would bet that our guys in Iraq would be urned on in a heart beat.
Pat let me know what you think about that, you being on the ground I think you may have a better handle on that than me.
Tehran, Mecca, madrasses… if we are done in Iraq and are going the route of genocide…all fair game if there is another attack in the US.
I think that our path in the ME is the right one for now. Play it like a poker tournament….slow and steady wins the race. We will get hit again I just hope it is not as big as 9/11. As long as our borders are as poreous as they are it is inevitable.

 Steve and Mindy…Mecca is the most strategic site there is. Think long and hard now… If you want to go to a church and pray to God. Why there is one just down the road. If you are Muslim and want to pray to God you must be facing Mecca. If you are a radical Muslim and you want to convert or kill all infidels.Yes that means Steve and Mindy too..You are going to have to fight the U.S.A
If you are going to fight the U.S.A you had better bring nukes or we will fuck up your day. We love our children and we WILL protect them.
So… think now. If all the Good Muslims think that the bad Muslims are going to get Mecca turned into a smoking hole. Maybe they will do something to police the wackos in their OWN religion. Which they haven’t done because… Wait I need to get another Crayon. Because they are terrified of these guys. Now I realize that standing up to the psychos in your own religion is hard.It often requires way more bloodshed then anyone should ever have to see. A good example of this would be Catholicism. there are many others. Now I know that all of this just isn’t fair … But no one said life was fair. The people in towers one and two found out life wasn’t fair as they jumped 110 stories to avoid the agony of being burned alive. I suggest you do some more world traveling and get to know what it means to not live inside the American bubble of progress. See beyond a that sea to shining sea of safety and star bucks and American Idol. If you think your own people are self centered , selfish, egotistical warmongers. Baby you ain’t seen nothing yet. Maybe that will give you some perspective. Please do it soon. I am running out of black and white crayons. Great idea. But it should never be used as a tool for election.

wack tehran and damascus now would be great, after Reagan bombed libya they dropped away and we had several years with minimal attacks until the early 90’s

Let’s cut the shit and glass those cities; destroying countries that support terrorism is effective and can beat their citizens into submission to the U.S.

I am conflicted on this issue. I think that nuking Mecca would be morally equivalent to firebombing Dresden. Actually nuking Mecca would probably be counterproductive, but as long as the rest of the world truly believes that we might do it, then, as Yankee Infidel pointed out, it would have a tremendous effect on that percentage of Muslims (however large or small that may be) who don’t subscribe to Islamic supremacy and jihad ideology. They may actually help to suppress the supremacist ideology inherent to Islam. I do think that we need to use a nuke somewhere soon on our enemies, to show the world that we still have the balls to do it. (and frankly, to show ourselves too!) I just hope the radiation isn’t upwind from me!

Two atomic bombs cured imperialism. There was an immediate reversal in behavior. “Imperialism, what was I thinking”? Islam makes up twenty percent of the world’s population. It’s experiencing the no snitch problem there is in some of our US cities. Mecca’s big black block houses a rock. They circle around a rock. I’m sorry, islam is outnumbered four to one. Eighty percent of the world says you can be whatever you want. Ten percent of islam says you can’t. One-hundred million says a lot about the company islamofacism keeps. Sounds to me, or should I say the silence sounds to me, “they may be terrorists, but they’re our terrorists”. Like in our no-snitch parts of town. You mean you can’t call the police from a pay phone a couple of blocks away from the ‘hood? Two atomic bombs and we’ve all seen the pictures of the Japanese Prime Minister and 43 going hand in hand to tour Graceland. What’s old becomes new.

    Steve;
It’s about the hypocrisy in the Muslim world about the “extremists”. Even the verbal condemnation is limited, qualified, “nuanced”, and mostly bogus. So some kind of incentive needs to be out there to get Islam serious about quashing the Islamists.

“Your problem, guys. How — and how soon — y’gonna fix it? Think fast, now … “
