Yes, we call them names, AND we identify all 8,000 targets worth destroying in their country, send carrier task forces into the Persian Gulf, arm their enemies, support their internal opposition groups, conduct operations at will in their country, and stablize Iraq at our backs so we can redeploy to the east. Richardson is a doofus, but this Admin. has got ’splaining to do about its efforts toward Iran. They haven’t followed through with the sanctions, they haven’t followed through on threats about the nuclear program. They pretty much seem to have capitulated to letting the State Dept. handle things, and the State Dept. has been incompetent, making idle threats and not following through. Simply enforcing what we’ve said we would do in terms of economic sanctions would go a long way–for instance, a stoppage of gasoline shipments to them would cripple their country and their gov’t would probably collapse in a week.
