Two More Cops Killed, Injured In Al Qaeda Campaign
Yes, Al Qaeda has decided that cop killing is the hot new tactic in Iraq. This twisted spree will run its course shortly. I began reporting about it yesterday morning, and soon the New York Times and other blogs followed suit.
Ramadi, Sept 26, (VOI)- A policeman was killed and another was injured when an explosive charge went off targeting their vehicle patrol in northern Khalidiya, a police source said.
“A roadside bomb detonated this morning targeting a police vehicle patrol in al-Jaziera region, north of Khalidiya, killing a policeman and injuring another,” the source, who preferred to be unnamed, told the independent news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI).
“Police forces sealed off the area and arrested three persons suspected of being involved in the attack,” he added.
“The body was sent to the forensic medicine department and the wounded were rushed to hospital for treatment,” the source noted.
Khalidiya, in Anbar province, is 80 km west of Baghdad.

Of course the cops are the hot target. They are softer targets than US troops. So until these cops fight as well as we do, the’re going to keep getting hit.
September 26th, 2007 at 5:39 amAnd it will be a long ass time until they fight like we do..But man these guys are brave, the Iraqi government might have performed in a less than desired manner but we cant take anything away from those defending their country over there. It wont be much longer, AQI will be split in half and running.
