If I recall Putin CV, that's the way he came to rule Russia, he lose many times his job :  as a former KGB when URSS broke down, then he enroled as an anonimous in ST petersbug administration, moved to the vice Mayor situation, then the mayor lost the election, Putin has no more job and was free to restart a new training in Moscow ; we know yet with what success he got the first position ; and heads the whole country with his party ; so if people don't vote for their boss,they will lose their job, it's the alternative ; and Putin won't make sentimentalism about that ; he experienced this situation in his former positions all the time.
