    The problem with these systems is that they fry not only the IED triggers, but also every phone, TV, and radio in it’s range. You don’t want to fry your own commo. Nor do you want to piss off the locals by taking out their tv’s and cell phones. This is a good step forward in the battle over IED’s. It is one of many promising projects.
