    Great point. As someone who’s been sprayed voluntarily twice, it sure hurts like a son of a bitch. According to some that would be torture right? Fuck that. I had to laugh my ass off at all those little crybabies. For crying out loud they were protesting the demolition of “da projects.” Get a fucking life and a job. Damn. :beer: cheers

    This was a project planned BEFORE Katrina hit. Love the drama, and the “hey look at poor, poor pitiful me” camera posing. N.O. is taking down an area that was a crime-ridden POS and replacing it with a mixture of middle-class and subsidized housing. In the meantime, the criminals will have to look elsewhere for housing. Those few that do need that project have other alternatives as well.

    The drama is unecessary. Everyone knew this was going to happen. So what’s the fooking point of protesting and rioting?

    Pepper spray is a very effective weapon. Nice job by security.

    Close to ten years ago, some chick who decided she didn’t like me sent her, I assume, boyfriend to kick my ass. I beat the shit out of him. She then pepper sprayed me.

    That was the closest I’ve ever come to killing a woman. The only reason she survived was that more than a few people jumped on top of me. I don’t remember much after that.

    The moral of the story is:

    Pepper spray will not stop a determined attacker. All it will do is scare off pussies.

    Howdy,
    I know this is going to sound a bit racist; but in all the videos I have seen there seem to be a hell of a lot of white people protesting the demolition of subsidized housing than I would expected in the “Chocolate” city.
    Is it me or do these people look very similar to every other liberal/communist rent-a-mob in the last decade? I guess it is easier to be a professional protester, than it is to get a job.
    I also agree with ticticboom, all pepper spray, or tear gas does is scare off the pussies. Many years ago, I had a tangle with law enforcement. It took being maced twice, (Once with my glasses on, once with the off.), and four police officers knocking the shit out of me to understand that there are times one does not exercise the Freedom of Speech. Of course the night in jail, and the disorderly conduct charge which cost me $75 helped to reinforce this point.
    Thankfully I have not tangled with constabulary in the age of the Taser, and hopefully I never will. Although I think it would be a hoot to get tazzed in a safe environment. Call me strange but I have been badly shocked many times, and am curious how much it differs from being tazzed.

    The protestors are not from New Orleans. Maybe 5% are local activists. If they would just own up to just wanting to impress some moonbat chick or dude to get some tail we would all know the truth.
