The entire five or six days I’ve been recovering, I’ve had no tv around me, which has been kind of interesting. None of the usual political chatter constantly driving into my head. But I’ve felt in no way disconnected – the internet works.

Fred is dead. It would appear that Conservatism, at least in the embodiment of a Presidential candidate, has passed with him. We’re now the middle-of-the-road party. Dangerous place to be. Better to drive on your side of the highway.
