One Killed As Helicopter Crashes Onto Busy L.A. Freeway
LOS ANGELES (AP) - One person was killed when a helicopter crashed onto a busy freeway Friday night, officials said.
The helicopter crashed just after 11 p.m. on the southbound lanes of Highway 110 in south Los Angeles, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Ron Myers said.
Fire crews arrived at the scene to find the aircraft burning. One body was later found in the wreckage. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
