I know many of you have been wanting any info on how Pat’s surgery went today and I have an official report now.
Not too clear on the exact procedure he had, but it was for a torn/detached retina and he got the surgery that doesn’t have the gas bubble but some kind of liquid (for those of you that any freakin clue as to what that means, if not Google [Detached torn retina surgery buckle] and you’ll get the general idea).
He had general anesthesia, which in and of itself is a life-threatening situation, but pulled through just fine and is recovering in LA at a friend’s place. He has an appointment to see the doc tomorrow morning to check things out.
I had my personal nurse fly down to take care of him…
I’m sure he’ll be just fine.
