January 29th, 2008 at 12:52 pmThis guy must think all things are relative. Consistently Conservative compared to who? If it was a match up against say Ted Kennedy the answer would be yes. If it was a match up between him and Romney then I wouldnt believe it.
January 29th, 2008 at 1:00 pmLOL What a joke. Mac has been taking lessons from the Clintons!
January 29th, 2008 at 1:05 pmHAR HAR HAR!
January 29th, 2008 at 2:14 pmI needed a good knee-slapper!
I at least respected McCain for his service, but the way he is acting now - crazed - lying - I am starting to think there is really something wrong with him - mentally. He thinks that conservatives are stupid - He thinks Rush Limbaugh can be played - conservatives are not stupid and clearly Rush is the steadfast leader of the movement — I guess there are just not many conservatives left.
And UNfortunately there are many voters who are uninformed and will buy the kool-aid - even on this website, surprisingly . . . conservatives may be outnumbered this year, but those of us left will educate our children and conservatism will rise again - especially after the HELL we are about to go through.
January 29th, 2008 at 3:41 pmMaCain is conservative like Ted Kennedy is conservative. He wants to shutdown Guantanamo and bring the terrorists here so that ACLU lawyers can get them released. He wants to give illegal combatants coverage under the Geneva Convention that specifically exempts them. He attacked Donald Rumsfeld who had to fight three wars in succession with the military left to him by Clinton and people like McCain. He sponsored a bill (McCain Feingold) which makes it illegal for Ameicans access to free speech just before an election. He sponsored a bill (McCain Leiberman) to fight Global Warming by bankrupting our society by attacking the very foundation of our economy: fossil fuels. (By the way, the earth’s temperature stopped going up in 1999.) He sponsored a bill (McCain-Kennedy) to make it OK for illegal aliens to stay in our country and to be made citizens before the thousands of people trying to to it legally. He opposed the Bush Tax Cuts that were responsible for rallying our economy out of the Clinton Recession, weathering the Clinton-encouraged (by inaction) terrorist attacks on 9/11, and the fighting an international war on terrorism… the only portion of which he supported was the old-fashioned idea that we needed more boots on the ground. (We won the war he was talking about in 21-days… before his bigger Army could have even been assembled.)
When does this start to sound like a conservative?
