The National Organization for Women Is witching today about the Kennedy Family’s endorsement of The Empty Briefcase Kid, calling it a “Betrayal”…
The endorsement is getting harsh criticism from the New York chapter of the National Organization for Women. The group is calling this the ultimate betrayal of women.
The endorsement has also injected new energy into the local Obama campaign.
“I think that we’re in a very bad climate in terms of women’s rights right now and I think that it’s sad to say, but I believe the old boy’s club is out there saying, ‘Anybody but a woman,’” said NOW NY President Marcia Pappas.
This is a blow to Sen. Hillary Clinton. NOW NY calls it the greatest betrayal, saying in a statement, “We are repaid with his abandonment! He’s picked the new guy over us. He’s joined the list of progressive white men who can’t or won’t handle the prospect of a woman president who is Hillary Clinton.”
