I think, however, that when the Berkeley City Council succumbs to pressure from the local businesses that will be feeling the economic wrath of this boycott and reverses their positon on the recruiting issue that these businesses continue their boycott. A slap on the hand isn't enough. Berkeley should be punished for putting people of this ilk in charge of their city government in the first place. With enough pressure from Berkeley's business community they will surely be able to convince their city leaders(?) to resign and be replaced by a legitimate government of (all) the people.
