It makes me feel ashamed to be an Englishman - and angry, after my father and both grandfathers fought in world wars 1 and 2.
We are being misrepresented here.

They can shove their weapons deals and their oil where the sun doesn’t shine.

I’ve had enough of the current British government now, what with the multicultural disaster they have inflicted on a people who do not want it but have to suffer it - and their cringing dhimmitude.
It’s time for them to go, so we can claim our country and our dignity and pride back.
It’s sickening, it really is… I despair sometimes.

In fact, we should lobby Congress to quadruple tariffs on all Middle Eastern oil and abolish any tariffs on non-Middle Eastern oil. We should also provide subsidies for companies to explore for and drill oil in non-Middle Eastern countries - e.g. Russia. If this doesn’t send a message, I don’t know what would. Oh…and while I’m thinking of it, it wouldn’t hurt if a few European countries did the same as us.

Having been to Saudi many times myself (I was just around the corner when the Khobar Towers bomb went off), I found it gratifying that the message is getting out about them.

They haven’t quite got away with it yet! As of today, the British High Court has ruled that stopping the investigation into the alleged corruption in Saudi arms deals was unlawful.

This probably means that the Serious Fraud Office has to continue the investigation that the Lord Chancellor, (Tony Blair’s old flatmate Lord Goldsmith) stopped, citing the threats to “National Security” arising from the Saudi threats.

I quote from The Lord Justices’ ruling: “No one, whether in this country or outside, is entitled to interfere with the course of our justice.”

Major problems will now ensue, much to the delight of “New” Labour watchers. It remains to be seen if the Brown clique will wriggle out of this one. It could be that exposing the whole (allegedly) corrupt deal leads to some serious thinking about who our real friends are.
