Ha, ha, ha, bless your soul. You really think you’re in control?

Starbucks is closing for three hours today, “retraining” everyone, and throwing out and no longer selling a lot of their extras, like certain sandwiches and stuff. “We are going to basics, focusing just on making a good cup of coffee.”
Which I appreciate, since the last one I bought there tasted like someone had been using the machine as a toilet they hadn’t cleaned in years. And I am fervently hoping that they are not going to lose the strippers at the one by the trailer park in the Polipsey Florida, a town I often find myself picking up large packages. Of cookies…for orphans…

Sen. John Warner was just hospitalized, no further details. Hussein probably put a particularly nasty Kenyan voodoo curse on him after he demanded more specifics from Ol’ Elmer Gantry about Taliban-Gate…
9:49 A.M.
Overheard from 9 year-old yesterday on Hussein’s decision to no longer wear an American Flag pin on his lapel:
“There’s something wrong with that dude”.
My attitude on the matter: Never forget. Never forget that he chose to stop wearing it. There is no excuse in the universe for it being an appropriate decision.

Alright, I know my synapses are firing on all cylinders cos Greg Guttfeld’s mom agrees with me about Hillary’s speech being the most important one of the campaign, and how it is the perfect, and very funny, indictment of the most dangerous man in America. This is not some Hillary endrosement of any sort, I wouldn’t let that witch in my house. I’m just saying she’s said one of the most important things Americans need to hear right now.

Speaking of Gutfeld, a good point made last night: “Jessica Alba would look hot even after a horrific traffic accident”

Comment Note To Readers: Sometimes you’ll post a comment and it seems to go into the ethers. Not true, from time to time the spam filter will, Like HAL in 2001, exercise a mind of its own, and put a comment into the spam box for no good reason. The box is checked usually every 5-15 minutes, and all legit comments are manually retrieved by my moderators. So don’t sweat it if your comment seems lost, it isn’t, it’s just in spam for a few, which is no different than being in moderation. All good souls are freed from purgatory.

Special nod to “Rojo Nixon” for cool pseudonym.

The content and media-interpreted results of this scheduled 30 hour debate will be the strongest harbinger we have of how the Iraq issue will be debated and play out during the general election.
The Republicans need to ride victory in Iraq right back into the White House, Congress and Senate.
3:25 P.M.
Fact: There is no civil war in Iraq. There never was a civil war in Iraq.

Stop the presses: Senator Chris Dodd just endorsed Hussein. The AP thought they should make a very important point in the story: “Dodd’s fluency in Spanish might also give a boost to Obama on the campaign trail in Texas, where a large bloc of Latino voters will help determine the fate of 228 delegates on Tuesday.”

WASHINGTON, Feb. 26, 2008 – A troop-support group in a small southern Michigan town is working to raise public awareness and appreciation for troops and their families.
“‘Operation Never Forgotten’ bridges the gap between our military and civilian worlds by creating nonpartisan national awareness advertising for our troops, veterans and their families,” Linda Kelly, the group’s president and founder, said. “(The organization) has rolled out over 500 billboards across America on highways and in airports from Times Square to L.A.”
The billboards display an unmistakable military theme with phrases encouraging viewers to remember and support the military and their families and the sacrifices they’re making. For example, one shows an American soldier with the phrase “Heroes Not From Movies.”
The group avoids espousing opinions about the war.
“Operation Never Forgotten separates the war from the warrior,” Kelly said, adding that the group’s campaigns stimulate volunteerism for all military support organizations helping deployed troops and wounded warriors, as well as those honoring our fallen heroes.
The organization is working to expand its advertising to media outlets beyond highway billboards. It’s focusing on other outlets where its message will be seen, including transit systems, shopping malls, sports facilities, and more traditional advertising venues like newspapers, magazines and radio.
Operation Never Forgotten recently became a supporter of America Supports You, a Defense Department program connecting citizens and companies with servicemembers and their families serving at home and abroad.

Truth: If you quickdraw your sidearm and firmly but playfully press it against a clothed woman’s vagina, you will get many kisses. It’s quite the enigma…but don’t try this if you really don’t know what you’re handling, in terms of either the weapon or the woman.
