The horror, the horror…

Fox News:

Al Qaeda’s latest display of terror has made its way onto the Internet, showing horrifying images of what appear to be prisoners in Iraq being doused with an inflammatory liquid and then burned alive.

The video, which appears to have been posted first on Google last December in an alleged anti-Al Qaeda Web film, shows five insurgents standing behind three blindfolded prisoners kneeling at the edge of a burning pit.

“And now that we have captured these scums who committed this dreadful crime, we will burn them with this fire,” the Al Qaeda leader says in Arabic. “The same fire which they committed their crime with.

“And I swear by God almighty that, I swear by God almighty that we will have no mercy on them,” he continues. “Allahuakbar, Allahuakbar.”

As he speaks, two of the insurgents pour liquid on the blindfolded prisoners. Then they push the bound men into the pit, where they are engulfed in flames.

According to the summary — in Arabic and German — included in the nearly 15-minute video posted on Google, many of the clips were found in Diyala, Iraq. The makers of the film say that the originals were “passed to us by others.”

    It’s funny…

whenever you see these vids and you hear “Allahu Akbar” you just know something bad is about to happen.

I would assume by the fact that there was no screaming that these people were already dead. Still fucked up. Still true that whenever you hear that phrase, you know some crazy shit is about to go down.

Yeah allahu akbar or (God is Great)

I would expect nothing less from the “religion of peace”

They were not DEAD already, their mouths were bound shut.

    Pat and Bash -

I know all your posted articles are in the site archives …

However, given the “Graphic Videos” you are finding and providing, perhaps a new and seperate LINK CATAGORY in the menu would be a good idea …???

    Why?

So that we here can easily find these bits of “evidence” more quickly when we need to reference them, or shove them under someone’s dhimmi nose when need be.

And so it catches the eye of newbies or hit and run web-surfers …

Could title it “Why We Fight” … or some such.

    Just a suggestion.

Great idea! i have had to do some searching for those before too. And they are an excellent source of evidence

Maybe even add the Nick Berg and Daniel Pearl and the folks jumping from the WTC towers videos … and any others that have been around since the dawn of this new Crusade.

I’m damn sick of the out-of-site-out-of-mind crowd. They’ll be the death of us all.

Im with you on that one. Some people are just passed convincing i believe. but if you sit most people down and show them something like this it would change their opinion pretty damn fast. Most people are too sheltered or too busy pursuing the life our military fights for them to have to pay any attention.

I have heard people say we need to make congress watch this, but they certainly have access to this stuff if we do.

    I agree

May I ask where the evidence is that this was actually Muslims let alone al qaida? So they wear clothes associated with Muslims, they shout Allahu Akbar and they even speak Arabic - but the Quran absolutely forbids death by burning. In fact when Ali, the fourth caliph, did this it caused widespread dissent. There was a case a few years back where three British SAS goons were caught wearing traditional Arab rags, their car loaded with AK’s and explosives…hmmmmmmmm

I believe you are headed in the right direction with “Why We Fight,” but it has to expand beyond that step. What is needed is for people to be inspired by Pat’s example of making Young Americans, to join in making films that celebrate and honor our young Americans who accepted the call, and from there to expand the call of making films that not only entertain but also educate, that pass down to the next generation the values and traditions that made America great. And to do so outside the gatekeepers of Hollywood.

To this end, I see in Pat a modern-day version of track-and-field star Roger Bannister, who in 1954 ran the first sub-4-minute mile. Bannister was training not only to achieve a new record, but had to do it in the face of withering skepticism and the smug self-assured arrogance of the intelligensia who believed such a feat was impossible and that Bannister was a fool for even thinking it. But Bannister reached within himself and overcame the obstacles to achieve his goal.

More importantly, he exorcised that psyche and soon others were besting his record. Likewise, Pat is (or should be) an inspiration for the rest of us to question the “conventional wisdom” that only Hollywood and its mega-dollar budgets can make a movie, and see what technology is available for us “grass roots” to learn how to make quality films that can get a pro-America message out on a shoestring budget, and in time perhaps achieve the larger goal of giving Hollywood and the Looney Left some much-needed ideological competition in the the free marketplace of ideas.

I agree with Drill. Less about the ultimate goal of people getting inspired and making their own movies, and more about making it easy to quickly find the clips I need to use as in support of an argument, or to show my students. A separate “videos only” section just makes sense, given how many have accrued.

Mohammed used fire as torture on a member of a Jewish tribe when he wouldn’t share the location of the tribes gold.

Shove the quaran up your ass and read the hadith. Mohammed did things like this and much worse.

    Take your conspiracy bullshit elsewhere.

“allahu akbar or (God is Great)”

My Arabic isn’t very good, but I’m pretty sure that “allahu akbar” translates to “We worship a child molester”!

  15. TJ (The kafir)

JayMS and Kurt “allahu akbar is used whenever violence is done to someone, or as a call to prayer. as such it should, outside of the call to prayer be treated as hate speech at the least or a threat to human life otherwise. If i hear it uttered in public i will treat it as a threat and operna can of whoop ass on the person who utters it.

So much for respect Mr Goodrow, but as you’ve made the claim I challenge you to bring your proof! But try do it without being foul mouthed.
