Favre Speaks

Some of you who have been around here a while know how much of an NFL fan I am. Went to my first football game in the Oakland Coliseum with my Dad and Grandpa on Halloween 1967. Watched the raiders trounce the Houston Oilers 40-7. The Raiders had a new rookie Linebackers coach thatyear named Madden.
But being a lifelong Niners/Raiders fan always meant the Pack had to lose so the Niners could get into the big game. However, I have always loved the whole game itself and loved to watch great players from other teams play. Many non-Raider/Niners stand out in my mind, OJ (what a let down in the end), Bradshaw, Staubach, Dorsett, Payton, Barry Sanders, Marino…too many to mention.
And then, yeah, I liked to watch Favre play too. Never wanted to go to the NFC Championship Game at Lambeau if you could help it.
Salute, Brett.
