My dad turns 78 on thursday the 17th. Don’t know whether I can compare good old dad to you, Hitler or Pat but one thing is for sure:
Since a few months he’s giving me some one-linners that sometimes baffle me.

Example:
He visited me last sunday and we talked about a few things. While leaving, right on the doorstep, he turned around and lokked me in the eye, saying:
“Next time I’ll see you you’ll probably wearing a military uniform”.

Now, my dad knows absolutly nothing about certain things that happen in my life ’cause these “things” as classified. But I swear, at that particular moment it was as he could see right trough me. Not only sensing what is classified to him and every one else outside “the field” but foremost -which bothers me much more- “knowing/sensing/feeling” exactly what kind of project I’m working on right now.

Can’t say anymore on that, but I was just flabbergasted by his unknowing but still/yet “closer to the truth” then he ever could know about.

Maybe it’s because older people (my dad) have learned to know their childeren (in my case, only one child) very well, very able to read their body-language and then, even with the littlest knowledge about where their kids are about, get some epiphany???!!!!

He left me -ed. And, even after going over things time and again, I still dont have clue what made him say this. (Not to mention the way and the tone of his voice he said it in.)

Only one: there is so much between heaven and earth that don’t need no explanation, just needs to get acknowledged for happening. With me, finnaly accepting that I’m part of a bigger Plan ’cause too much happened “by coincidence” recently, it can’t be “coincedential” anymore.

Anyway:
Pat pays taxes on the 15th and celebrates his birtday on the 16th.
I wonder how much delay this will have on…..shhhh…hardly dear to mention it anymore….(starts wispering)….the rattle-snake-story :???:….

I read a while back that Ethanol is no cleaner than Gasoline in terms of emissions; in fact it’s dirtier.

My own dad has called me more in the past 3 months than he has in the prev. 5 years and even more than before I deployed to Iraq or right after 9/11. My hippy friends have started asking me to teach them how to shoot and what weapons would be good.
