DETROIT (AP) - Detroit police say they’ve found the partially mummified body of a woman in her 80s on the kitchen floor of a house where her mentally troubled sister was living.
Police say they believe the surviving sister had been living with the body for one to three years. They say the body was partially covered with newspapers and that a cat and dog apparently ate part of it.
The Detroit Free Press says authorities removed the surviving sister Wednesday night and took her to a crisis center. She’s also in her 80s and appears to have mental problems.
Police say they went to the house after a neighbor called to express concern.

CHIBA, Japan, April 24 (AP) - (Kyodo)—A camper van burst into flames Thursday night in the town of Kujukuri, Chiba Prefecture, after a police chase and a burned body was found inside the vehicle, police said.
While being chased by police, the camper van drove through red lights and what appeared to be a fire bomb was hurled at a police car, they said.
The police are investigating to confirm the identity of the body as well as the owner of the vehicle.
According to the police, the driver of the camper van ignored a police officer’s instruction to pull over and sped away near a fishing port in the town at around 7:20 p.m.
The vehicle went up in flames near a residence one and a half hours later and the body was found inside.

fox reported that sources are telling them that we have at least enough oil to power 60 million cars for 100 years and enough natural gas to power our country for over 170 years. thats amazing! the congress is also discussing the possibility of no weapons sales to OPEC countries unless they raise production.
we need to just start drilling. hope it happens soon because i paid 3.60 a gallon today
