For certain reasons, this song reminds me of the moments before heading out on combat patrol and night time raids on HVTs. And the whole Go Tell the Mountain thing is, to me it’s like you might as well go complain to a big rock about it, cos 1. there’s nothing you can do about it but go, and 2. if you try to explain to a civilian about what’s like, heading out onto those IED and ambushed roads, you also may as well be talking to big rock. Plus in a way, on the opposite spectrum, the mountain is a metaphor for God, for confiding, well, a lot, in Him.

I’ve just been invited to go to Kandahar to cover the Marines killing Taliban for three weeks. May be able to squeeze that in. And as always, if I don’t make it back ( which is highly unlikely, but you never know), “In your eternity, don’t forget I was your friend”. Weird I get this invite about three hours after posting that video.

Pay close attention, cos given the spineless new government, Pakistan is about to get worse than anyone has imagined, unless the U.S. steps up it’s military operations within the country. These idiot Islamists are forcing a defacto form of new colonialism, where if they are going to keep making things so dangerous for the U.S., we are only going to have to keep interfering more and more both militarily and in their political systems, strictly out of the demands of our own survival.

As filmmaking and distribution have become democratized, the future is ours, and we are going to seize it. And Hollywood ed up, cos they taught this boy the game of producing, marketing and distribution. And the PD Channel is going to get it all done without them. And a special thanks to all of you who caught the wave early. The site is taking off tremendously, with over a million page views a month, and it just keeps growing. The regular, daily audience is TWICE what it was two months ago, and this is one of the few truly independent conservative sites with a huge audience. We don’t and will not belong to Pajama’s Media ( who are great, but they’ll make me behave), and I’ve barely been doing this a year, unlike the other big boys who have either signed onto the conglomerates that feed them traffic or have built up their audience over five years. All things considered, pound for pound, in the short time we’ve been up, combined with our lack of an umbrella organization to feed us traffic, and an MSM that has been out to assasinate me, this may be the most succesful conservative site on the net. IE, those with bigger numbers were either doing this for years longer than me, or belong to groups and cliques that feed them traffic. We got our exploding audience the old fashioned way: we earned it.

The Mexican official who stole the White House blackberries at the 3 Amigos summit, has just been fired by. Let’s face facts, they had to fire him, because we knew what he did, and they had to fire him in order to save face, Had he not been caught by the Secret Service, the Mexican government would have promoted him for successful spying.
