Travelling today, Republican event tonight, will post as can. Bash, Lft and Drill will have the site. What we don’t catch up on today, from me, we’ll catch up on tomorrow, particularly on the podcast.

Never knew that, POD1, but in hindsight, it makes perfect sense. The environment movement (particularly the more political aspects) is largely a fifth column, seeking to undermine our defenses, and our way of life.

April 26th, 2008 at 12:00 pmMatt Maupin will be coming home toady. I don’t know if the local news here will mention it.
Is there any way we can do something special on this site for him?
You’re asking the ‘Rookie’ from the Mud Hens, here, boy …
I’ll tap on Bash about it, but in the meantime, Pat was on for a bit and DID set up a thread for the brave young man’s return to rest peacefully in the heart of his family, and in the soil of the Land Of The Free and the Home of The Brave he fought and died for.
The MSM recalls them ALL as numbers … a tally … a score against the ‘home team’ …
WE REMEMBER them for where their hearts, souls, pride, patriotism, selflessness, brotherhood, dedication, and loyalty led them in their lives … and where they left us behind in our tears to pass through the front doors of The Mansion of The Lord.
Would be a GREAT idea if EVERYONE went to the thread and left a personal tribute:

A friend of mine has one. It’s an outstanding gun. I’ve been thinking about the Smith & Wesson .500 revolver. But I don’t know if my balls are that big. Still debating.
April 26th, 2008 at 1:47 pmPAT! YOU MISSED IT! GRETCHEN CARLSON HOSTED “FOX MEDIA WATCH” today!

Thank you for your service.
Prayers, remembrance, and gratitude for your brother, Marine Cpl. Joseph S. Tremblay.
April 26th, 2008 at 7:06 pmHis service and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
May he rest in peace.
I’m thinking I heard he’s got another surgery coming up in the near future??
Other than that, he says the eye is good.
He’s “partying” with some Republican Hollywood-types tonight.

Tell me this, oh Drillmeister, how can 3 people be called a “party”

April 26th, 2008 at 10:26 pmPaths of Glory is one of the best movies ever made. Kirk Douglas, as a younger man, always looked to me like he ate steel for breakfast. He was great in that movie. Spartacus was another one of his best. Thanks for posting the vids.
April 27th, 2008 at 4:53 amHow’s the saying go?
“Whenever two or more are gathered in my name …”
April 27th, 2008 at 6:02 amThanks Drill — that eye crap has got to be getting old for him.
