Asswipe Congressman Belittles Troops And Lies About Green Zone Trip

April 4th, 2008 Posted By Bash.

Just looking at him makes me want to smash his fukn face in…*ahem*, excuse me…

Here’s the video explanation as sent to me:

Congressman Patrick McHenry of the North Carolina’s 10th District lies at the Lincoln County GOP Dinner attended by approximately 150 Republicans regarding events that occurred during his recent trip to Iraq. McHenry, who has no military experience, uses the occasion to “belittle” security personnel for properly carrying out their duties in a war zone and to bolster his image by exaggerating the extent of danger he was facing. According to a US Embassy spokesman, no one lost their life during the attack McHenry describes.

He also calls one of our troops a “Two Bit Security Guard”.

Why is it everyone of these jokers think they are a rock star?

“Why I’m Rep. Patrick McButthead from NC! Don’t you know who I am!”
” No Sir, I need ID or you’ll need to leave right now.
“Get me your supervisor right now you two bit….”
TASER TASER TASER! …crackling, sizzling, wimpering.

    I can dream can’t I?

He seems like a self important, small in character, “man” (in other words, he sounds way more like a Democrat, then a Republican).

Amazing that his name is so close to a true patriot of the revolution, Patrick Henry (the guy who said, among other great quotes / writings, “Give me Liberty, or give me Death!”).

Truly bizarre that so many elected officials believe they are “better” than the rest of us, and that they’re entitled to deference at every turn just because they believe they’re in a position of power and influence.

The truth is that they are supposed to be servants of the people who elected them. They are supposed to uphold the will of the people who voted them into office.

I’m going to wait until I can afford to run a campaign without any outside donors if I ever run for political office. I also won’t accept any pay for my public service.
Which is how it used to be…senators / congressmen were unpaid volunteers initially. None of this voting yourself a hefty raise every few years.
