Bash Theater: “Everyone Wants To Be A Porn Star”

These two short scenes are from a movie that, in my most humble opinion, is misunderstood by idiotic Hollywood blockbuster film lovers as being gibberishly non-linear, dismissed by film critics as being too enigmatic, dismissed by others (myself almost included but the director made me watch it) as not having any serious talent in lead roles (but they were very talented, and I was fukn wrong), and most of all not making any sense, or spoken of with a wave of the hand as being non-cohesive…

..in reality, I believe that this film is a fantastically and intricately interwoven commentary/prophecy/satire of life in America, politics in America, and above all, a metaphor.

A very good, metaphor…

One word of advice. The dialogue you are about to hear in these two short clips? Do not take them literally, take them as a “code” or a “metaphor” or “simile” or whatever…just something other than the literal meanings…

I love this thing…

…or I’m nuckingfuts.

The Film is “Southland Tales” written and directed by Richard Kelly, who also wrote and directed “Donnie Darko”…
