The accuracy of F-15 strikes is amazing when you consider that in WWII, you could draw a circle 5 miles away from a target and that’s where Brit bombers would hit at night. You could draw a circle next to a target with a 100 meter diameter and that was the US daylight bombing accuracy. In VN, a bomabadier/navigator on an A-6 told me that he would have to drop his entire string of 20 500 pound bombs in order to hit a single target.
Now the accuracy is one bomb, one hit. So what’s the PE now?
