April 21st, 2008 at 5:07 amThey “knife-edged.” Meaning the pilot rolled to hard. The rotor head produces lift in only one direction. You roll to hard to one side or pitch forward or back to hard and you lose your upward lift. The spinning rotors slice through the air like knives and you fall like a rock.
