Honduras Prison Gangs Kill 9 In Prison Riot: With Machetes
TEGUCIGALPA (Reuters) - Nine prisoners were killed with machetes and knives on Saturday during a riot in an overcrowded prison in northern Honduras, the government said.
“Nine prisoners, eight from gangs, died after a fight … in the San Pedro Sula penitentiary,” said Security Ministry spokesman Hector Mejia.
TV images showed blood-stained corridors in the jail in Honduras’ second city following the riot, which was believed to have been provoked by a prisoner who shot a fellow inmate.
Police later took control of the jail in San Pedro Sula, Honduras’ manufacturing center and its most violent city. The jail holds some 3,000 inmates but was built to hold far fewer.
Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador are overrun with violent youth street gangs, known as “maras” that trace their origins back to Salvadoran immigrants on the streets of Los Angeles in the 1980s and 1990s.

I would love nothing more than to see an anti-gang squads sweep through cities and clean house. They sure as hell aren’t hard to spot, they got the tatoos to mark them already. Just find them and kill them.
Prison is nothing but a playground for gangsters, they still get their drugs and call for hits on the outside as well as the inside. At least bring back chain gangs and get something out of their existence.

Police later took control of the prison. She-it, they never had or will have control of the freaking place. But that is ok, as long as, the G-bangers rid themselves of each other. Better down there than here.

We should emulate this same set-up in U.s. prisons. Let gangbangers riot everyday with no guard intervention. That’s the surest way to reduce prison population at the least cost to taxpayers.
