Briefly, what we, the American public, are told is by means of braodcast and print media. Our gov’t knows, as all gov’ts know, that whatever is disseminated via the media is picked up simultaneously by our enemies. Even in WW2, when news films showed General Patton’s 3rd Army rolling through France, our gov’t knew that foreign agents were also in the theaters.

Our gov’t strategies may be smart or they may be stupid, but with few exceptions they are NOT broadcast to an unsophisticated domestic audience and a hostile foreign one.

Whatever GWB and the present administration is intending to do about Iran is something only the highest echelon of officials are aware of.

For all we know, our military is gearing up for a pre-emptive strike right now.

Don’t waste your time believing what you are told. Whatever plans our gov’t has for Iran or N Korea or the price of eggs in Des Moines is something we won’t learn about until after it happens.

That is only prudent.

Maybe I’m wrong (I’ve been wrong before), but I cannot believe the same gov’t that stormed into Iraq is going to satisfy itself by pointing a finger at Iran and saying: “Naughty Iran. Go stand in the corner!”

And I don’t believe Bush put our country through the Iraq war just so Iran could make a dog’s breakfast out of our success two weeks after he leaves office.

I suspect some dramatic news events before he leaves office. And Iran will figure prominently.

We straightened out Iraq to an amazing degree. If Bush can give Iran a bloody nose and force a coup to revert it back to what it was before the revolution, those two things alone will push the Islamic agenda 100 years back into the past…just where they belong.

you could very well be right on that. you definitely made a good point, we dont have a clue what the administration has planned and we shouldnt have a clue. all of this grand-standing at the UN would make for perfect cover.

I expect we will hit Iran before Bush leaves office. just look at the signs including the fact that we have those naval fleets sitting off the coast of lebanon right now, docked in port in Israel and elsewhere.

Glad I’m not the only one who knows that TV was invented to spew lies en masse rather than “inform.”
