I came in just a little late on this so I missed the, “Uppity n*****” remark … Wo-o-o-o-o-o-o!!!

Had a non-card-carrying-non-liberal said that remark, in whatever context, they would be TOAST!

And for him to have used John McCain’s name in the same breaths in the Rev. Wright topic, for very little reason other than “older men” … was a cheap political shot at detatched moral equivalence in order to suggest McCain is as old-minded and unhinged as Wright. Piss-poor, Matty.

Modine does not sound as he has convinced himself of his views, let alone try to convince me …

private Joker. hard to imagine someone could be in such a badass movie and yet be such a puss. terrorism should be handled by the police? Ok Bill Clinton. we all know how well that served us in the past. lets fire a couple cruise missiles at an aspirin factory while we’re at it, that should only piss them off more.

and I also liked the part where he wouldnt answer whether he would have dropped the A-bomb or not even though the end result is already recorded in history, and it saved LOTS of lives in the end.

I think he summed up the misinformed liberal quite well with “Our country was founded on liberal principal”. Liberty the word has nothing to do with “liberal” the mindset. Classical liberalism (or libertarian). Also has nothing to do with “liberal” the mindset, the problem is the meaning of the word has changed over time and these people don’t realize that. Thus when they hear “Liberty” or read in the bible and such “liberal” they just assume that liberal democrats must be what the founding fathers had in mind. Misinformation through poor (and “liberal” controlled) education. So next time you hear a liberal argue they are just what the fathers wanted be sure to point out that “liberal” and “liberty”, or “classical liberalism” do not have anything in common.
