    Increase the chance of a shootings?? Very unlikely. However, I did join the army after Kent state, I thought we we’re going to be allowed to shoot students. OTOH You could do a simple background check of a carrier, like they did with moi. A conceal carry would be better - more lib girls would talk to ya.

    I think there is less of a chance of some dumbass thinking he can get away with another Virginia Tech if the “victims” can shoot back. The instant the first jackass gets cut down by a classmate with a pair and a CCW the instant that school shootings stop happening.

    The students are right, legally and morally. The constitutions of The United States and The State of Indiana guarantee their individual rights to keep and bear arms. Indiana requires a permit to carry a concealed firearm. However, once that requirement has been met, then no one should be allowed to interfere with the constitutionally guaranteed rights of these students. Their lives are on the line; they should be allowed to make their own decisions. :gun: :gun:

    As to the old saw that allowing students to conceal carry would recreate Dodge City and the O.K. Corral, I would invite everyone to read the following:
