Pelosi, Reid and Kennedy can keep on fiddling while Rome burns. Watching the dems continuing to claw themselves to death is a hoot.
April 25th, 2008 at 9:41 amwhat a dumb f*&(!! the evil elf wastes taxpayer dollars running for POTUS to vacation in Hawaii for weeks at a time, has 3 offices in Cleveland fully staffed footed by you and I, the man has no friggin clue on how to run a business. If they want to drop prices, costs and profits, open up Gulf drilling for US companies, open up ANWAR, start drilling in the Dakotas.
First it was the tobacco companies, and it was only about them, now it is about the oil companies and only about them, next it will be the investment firms, and only about them.
Then it will be about the next largest industry, and the next and the next, and always will be about only that particular industry. When the lying traitors have so many shafted, and the economy is in a death spiral, then they will want total government control over every aspect.
this is about the dems getting more power over your daily life, that is ALL it is about, in an insidious effort to slowly turn this into a socialist country, and then wer are all doomed, like Rome, and every other ancient culture that had to omany citizens becoming too dependent on their governemnt to provide for everything.
I wish Cleveland would disown this piece of fecal matter…I need to get a company transfer to another place, get away from such bald faced lying liberals…
April 25th, 2008 at 9:55 amOne item which I’ve never heard talked about in the media is the fact that Enviromentalists and Liberals have been pushing pollution standards on the oil companies which require them to refine gasoline and diesel to the point that forces the cost to skyrocket unnecessarily. I’m not against controlling pollution, but we need to be reasonable considering the situation.
Another item is the fact that Environmentalist wackos (specifically the Democrats) have been quashing the exploration of oil both in the continental US and in Alaska (ANWR) which has forced the US to rely more and more on foreign oil imports, which has also forced up the price of fuel.
If it weren’t for George W. Bush and the Republican majority we had a few years ago which allowed the nuclear industry to get moving again after 20 years of suffocation by the Environmentalist wackos and the Democrats, we would be in ever more serious trouble than we are now. Bush deserves a lot of credit for overturning the Liberals anti-nuclear madness.
I’m sick and tired of the Environmentalist wackos and the Democrats wrecking this country with their insane ideas. If the Dems get an even larger majority in the Senate and the House this Fall, look out for even more insanity, including homosexual marriage, a national gay rights law, higher taxes, cuts to the Military, and more.
Conservatives had better get out and vote this year if we don’t want to be swamped with a tide of Liberal legislation and especially Judges on the Federal bench!
April 25th, 2008 at 10:18 amHe’s got his tinfoil hat on again. Dhimis think the solution to everything is limiting profits or taxing.
The world market sets the price of oil, not the oil companies. And since Mr Kucinich likes stats here’s one for him: Since 1977 the oil companies have paid 1.43 trillion dollars in taxes to the Fed while making after taxes 630 billion in revenue. Their tax rate is at 48%.
Limit their profits? How about the taxpayer limiting your salaries in Congress? How’d you like that? Hmmmm….thought not…
Ethanol costs more money to produce than does gasoline. Produce one blend of fuel instead of 53. Stop Ethanol production and give the consumer a break on Fed and State taxes on each gallon of fuel purchased.
Get a clue Dhimis. There’s nothing “common sense” in Dennis the Menace’s ideas.
April 25th, 2008 at 10:18 amThe line that betrays how the ignorant come to conclusions,”I feel that….” So how many times did he say this during the interview. What a moron he is? The voters in Cleveland must be equally so, or just like as it is in New Orleans, the best candidate from a bunch of losers running for office.
April 25th, 2008 at 10:22 amDrilling on American soil provides oil to the market, Good High paying jobs with benefits, strengthens the American economy. All good things.
Voting Democrat is not an option.
Follow the Democrats to higher prices.
April 25th, 2008 at 10:58 amKucinich is a clown. The simple solution is as follows:
DRILL, DRILL, DRILL everywhere we know there’s oil. This is so freakin’ simple it’s ridiculous.
Cavuto makes him look like less than a fool.
