First I would argue with the numbers but second I would argue that the poor innocent dead fucks if they had any balls at all would have raised up and kicked Saddam ass if they had had a ghost of a chance of being supported by this nation’s bleeding hearts, prior to war. Dessert Storm allowed for a no-fly zone in both north and south Iraq and the bleeding heart fuckers of this nation turned a blind eye to the violations that took place in spite of this UN sanctioned endeavor. Freedom to them is to be enjoyed at the expense of the many who have fought for their right to make asses of themselves. Let the tyranny appear at this doorstep and it wouldn’t take long for these people to be screaming their heads off for protection that our armed forces provide. Red flags/white flags- who in the fuck do these people think protected their collective asses when the colonists stood their ground. Patriots, free thinkers who had enough of dictation from England. This attitude of ‘woe, the poor helpless enfringed upon people without recourse to this great nation of ours. These miserable fucks would grant our freedom without regard to the cost. Let’s give a free education to these poor bastards the moment they want to really participate in securing our safety. Let’s educate any and all and then station them in places like Angola, Bosnia,Venezuela,Sudan,Iran, any of the many repressed areas of the world and let them enjoy the freedoms that they are earning. Afterwards let them come back and find fault with this nation and her ways and then let them go forth and spread democracy in places like Russia, China,or any country that allows their people to speak out against their people’s interests, and then implement all the revisions that are the wrongs with America. I am sure these people would be welcomed with open arms. Have them go to the Islamic nations, and preach a dress code similiar to the ones in our high schools or colleges. Let them take our morality or lack there of, and have them instill the love of free expression when it comes to denying Allah, or the depiction of Mohammed in a jar of piss. These useless fucks need a dose of reality before they open their pie holes. Let them all put the balls on the line before they speak of evil which they perceive to be us. I can see the flags in Tienemann Square, and the ones in Tehran, and they are aligned so well.

The only thing I would add would be to ask the ACLU if they will support an effort to put 3,000+ flags on that same mall this Sept. 11th in memory of all the Americans who died in the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and an obscure farm field in Pennsylvania when some lunatics with their idea of “good intentions” decided to slaughter them in the name of Islam.

I spat every time I walked past and bent the ear of everyone I knew about what a load of horse-shit it was (what with the shaky statistics, shoddy equivocating, and sheer disingenuousness regarding who was actually killing Iraqi civilians). Most folks, I found, either agreed with me or were too intimidated by the Jarhead foaming at the mouth to argue (mostly the former, I think).
My friend, a former Army SSG, summed it all up in one pithy statement:
