The article neglected to mention that Barrack's people have also been in contact with the FARC and Chavez. Iraq and Iran are just the tip of the iceberg I'm afraid.

"The senior Colombian official who showed the new documents to the AP said legal considerations—and a desire not to embarrass friendly governments—was behind the partial releases." I wonder who the "Friendly Goverments" are, certainly not Venezuela or Ecuador.

It's not like the FARC doesn't already go into Venezuela and Ecuador as a safe haven. They admit to going into Venezuela to purchase weapons. In the end though the real thing keeping this conflict going are Colombia's own politicians, at least the corrupt ones have. Screw the :gun: FARC, the :gun: ELN, the :gun: paramilitary groups, and all the :gun: corrupt politicians that give Colombia it's problems.
