Free Rock Concert Explains Huge Hussein Crowd In Oregon

Yeah, I’m sure he would have drawn a big crowd anyway, but not that big. Listen, I live in Oregon, on the coast. The high concetration of left wingnut liberals are actually strung out (in more ways than one) along the I-5 Corridor, meaning the college towns of Ashland, Eugene, and Portland.
Most of the people along the coast and in the coastal range tend to lean to the more conservative side.
Anyway, Nods to NRO.

Bash, my sister hangs out with a lot of Reed College students. She became associated with many Portland natives back at Marlboro College. I know exactly the type you’re talking about–the limousine liberal/artsy-fartsy crowd.
Might visit her sometime this summer, also have some relatives in Seattle. If so, it’d be the first time I’ve ever seen the Left Coast (only one in my immediate family to not visit that part of the US).
May 20th, 2008 at 6:11 pmI hate Oregon because that liberal cess pit called Portland always carries the state. I’m a Portland State student and the school is liberal as they come. Thank goodness there are still people like me on campus.
May 20th, 2008 at 6:12 pmI spent some good times in Ashland/Lithia Springs area a few years back. Most laid back cops I’ve ever seen in my life. I appologized for what I did in the back of the cruiser and he just said, “no problem, we have people to hose that out…” What a great guy.

Bash. I read yesterdays post about the Canadian boreal forest Vs. developing tarsands. I researched that Steve Kallic mentioned therein. I suspect he hails from another part of the country. One search listed him as having spent ten years in Texas, another one links him to UnJobs. And a local paper has a full article on him. Asked why Pew Charities, a Philly based group is in Seattle, he states “there is an enormous, slow, quiet migration of conservation groups to the Northwest” for reasons including overcrowding on the East Coast, and a central location for air routes to Asia, the far North, and even South America. You can find the piece under “Steve Kallic” find the one from the Seattle Times. He claims to be a hunter too, but judging from the picture I’m skeptical of that.
