He's trying to compare the costs of two completely different wars. The Gulf War consisted of a 40 HOUR ground war. Moreover we didn't have to worry about the humanitarian side of the conflict. THIS war has been going on for aver 5 years. We have to be able to re-train all the Iraqi Forces, provide humanitarian aid, and re-build the country.
