God bless them all. I wish them nothing but the best

the life we have been given is so important, and of that none is more precious than a child’s. several “snapshots” from that vid stood out to me, the one with the soldier reaching out to the the little girl and holding her, the young woman, who just a short time ago was a girl herself and now has returned to help, the row of kids sitting on the curb and near the far end a soldier sitting with them, and the boy tentively reaching out for the bottle of water offered by the soldier. i can never say it enough to you who have served and are serving, thank you.

‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’
    Matthew 25:37-40

I was touched looking at the faces of our soldiers. They love what they are doing, it’s not just a job for them! To the American soldier, you make me proud and I thank you.
