Simple solution. Everyone who protests building local power plants, drilling ANWR and other reserves and building more nukes, has their power shut off first when the brown-outs start.

States like Louisiana should be that last to have gas fired power plants, autos, etc.. Same goes for the coal producing states with coal fired plants as well as states that have refineries or drill for oil.

LOL I don’t know whether they feel bad about this fuckup, or all of the others. Wait, they’re Democrats they “miscalculated” the fact that that “miscalculation” has created rising gas prices since then doesn’t matter. The fact that Americans have less dispoable income doesn’t matter to them, the fact that the rising gas prices have had a negative effect on food prices, let alone our economy, I can go on. I mean it’s an “honest” mistake. Of course no one’s going to call them out on it, I mean they’re Democrats, they can’t error.

I think also they “did it for the children”, one of their favorite lines. One of the problems is it is never reported that the dems block drilling. When I hear someone bitching about it, I always say we need to drill for more, but one political party that is beholding to environuts..then they ask which one , I tell them that the only way to change this is to not vote for a dem at any level of govt.
