Yup. The magic of Chromakey. Remember Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump? He hopped around with no legs? This is how they did it. The parts of his legs that had to disappear were painted with Chromakey paint. Then the computer just erased them in post production. That’s over simplified, but you get the idea.
