Never mind that gigantic fusion furnace sitting 93,000,000 miles away.

As more evidence piles in that they (The environmental scientists) are full of shit you'll see more and more of these "the sky has fallen" articles. Especially from the people that stand to lose billions of dollars in fraud research grants.

You've probably already seen the "Our models now predict 10 years of cooling" crap..

Translation.. We need to hide the fact we're full of shit for ten more years to milk the tax payer even more.. By then we'll have created the next new man made problem.

The Telegraph used to be a decent London paper.
It turned sharply Left a couple of years ago.
The sentiment expressed here is the true agenda of environmentalism,
namely to elevate the importance of nature to a religious shrine and
take the human race out of existence.
Like other destroying cults (islam) their agenda has to proceed by
stealth. If it becomes known too soon, then people with ordinary
common sense will dismiss it.
We will come to regret putting polar bears on the endangered species
list. Effing lawyers will now be able to delay almost endlessly
any project at all. This is a lawyer's gold mine. $200 / barrel oil
is just around the corner. As far as CO2 emission go, China and
India will rapidly exceed our emissions, (China already does),
and they're laughing.
The stupidity of politicians! Congress was jumping for joy yesterday
because they stopped the filling of the emergency petroleum reserve,
even though the rate at which it is being filled represents only
0.1% of daily oil production. Like that will make any difference
at all.
They're all BUMS.
By the way - I recommend that you do not bring those low energy
compact florescent light bulbs into your home. They contain mercury.
I broke one and didn't realize I had to treat it like a serious
chemical poison spill. I was sick for over a month. I won't
put another of those stupid things in my house again.

I have constated that a few earlier flowers alike "perceneige" (small white bells)that used to blossom at the end of january, now we have them for new year ; daffodils in february when they were end of march, lilac and thrush in april, when it was in may...

turkish doves don't move anymore,
storks don't go to Africa anymore, they stay in south ouest of France 's coast, Spain and Portugal
wild geeses adopt our coasts and ponds near Atlantic
In France and in Britain, people used to warm their home with coal ; XIXth, specially for London is known for its typical english smog and fog.

So there are climate effects, though not global, more local : depends what kind of stuff you use for heating your house ; if the flowers appear earlier, I don't think that depends on us, but more on the sun aspects...

These phenomenons were well known of the earlier humanhood ; they used to see the sun as a God, without whom nothing can exist on our planet

Anyone seen the 1986 movie Mosquito Coast? It's a perfect example of the lunacy we are seeing now.
BTY: I fell into liberalism and thought bullshit similar to this into my early 20's (20 yrs ago). Until these pinheads leave their isolated world of self serving bullshit and deal with the world as it is and not what they believe it should be, they will continue to speak out of their ass.

.....

A script of the closing scene with Harrison Ford talking to River Phoenix.

How am I doing, Son?

Fine, Dad.

I can't move. Just my head.

You'll get better.

Man sprang from a faulty world, Charlie.

It's a bad design, the human body.

The skin's not thick enough.

Too little hair, no claws or fangs.

We weren't meant to stand upright.

It exposes our heart and genitals.

Should be on all fours.

Hairier with tails.

Look at me. Yes, sir.

I'm going to be on all fours from now on.

I don't want Dad to die.

I know that. I know.

Nature's crooked.

I wanted right angles...

...straight lines.

You cut yourself opening a can of tuna
and you die.

Are we still going upriver, Mother?

Yes, darling.

>> closing voice over of Phoenix's characters:

Once I had believed in Father...

... and the world had seemed small and old.

Now he was gone and I wasn't afraid
to love him anymore.

And the world seemed limitless.

Picking up where Dave M. left off, I also recommend you don't bring those low energy Oompah Loompahs into your house as a replacement for your immigrant ( legal of course ) housekeeper. Total disaster. They wear out twice as fast, drink out of your toilet bowl, eat everything of the first shelf of the fridge, and have the flatulence of ten man. You think greenhouse gasses are bad? Plus many of them are gang members, and it's not uncommon for the legendary Ooompah Loompah home invasions to follow. I shudder. No weapons, just singing. The horror, the horror...

“Humans are influencing climate through increasing greenhouse gas emissions, and the warming world is causing impacts on physical and biological systems,” said Cynthia Rosenzweig, at the Nasa Goddard Institute for Space Studies."

The humans f'ng up the planet are the flat earthers of the man-made global warming crowd...starting with manbearpig and working their way down to gaia's niece Heidi Cullen.

What a bunch of scam artists.

 Dave M- The flourescent bulbs.

Another downside to those bulbs is the long start up time for the brighter flood lights- a twenty second glow at best followed by another thirty to get to full btightness. Just the thing homeowners want for outdoor security lights.

I'll go one further though. Much of the power we get where I live is hydro-electric, and its still a bargain. Those little incandescent bulbs put out more heat which is what we need during the colder, darker months of the year. During the longer days of summer they stay off. I plan to buy up as much indies as I can stockpile.

I’ll go one further though. Much of the power we get where I live is hydro-electric, and its still a bargain. Those little incandescent bulbs put out more heat which is what we need during the colder, darker months of the year. During the longer days of summer they stay off. I plan to buy up as much indies as I can stockpile.

I'm a builder and there's a saying that goes " don't put up any more in the morning that you can take down in the afternoon" (meaning do it right) we've got a lot of work to do.

lol Global Warming. So the reason that the climate is once again changing is because of man. Question, why didn't the cavemen do anything about Global Warming. Look what happened almost all animal life was wiped out, all because of their impact on the environment. Not to mention they dramatically effected the environment, and were responsible for the melting of the icecaps around the world.

"Mankind is the earth's biggest threat."

There are so many logical problems with that sentence and the way it even came to be that it boggles the brain; which was likely the intent.

The fundamental truth remains that it's Earth that is the biggest threat to Mankind. How many people will die next year from climate change?
How many will die from AIDS or even malaria (which is fairly easy to 'cure'). Or even due to a lack of potable drinking water and proper sanitation? Millions.
Shows where the 'priorities' are, eh?
Selling books.

Mankind is earths biggest threat - Ok, I'll accept the premise, but the "makind" you are speaking of are the collection of holier-than-thou, lunatic, libtards that seemingly comprise the vast majority of those attempting to cram this whole man-made global warming sack of excrement down our throats...

and I can now assume our "influence" has extended into neighboring planets as well?...

If the flowers are blooming sooner, oh well. If the geese are sticking around more - good news for the hunters I suppose. Catch a few, breed 'em and you can make more homemade frois gras and pate, eh franchie?

That Harvard article was 2003. All those 'deniers' are surely in lock-step by now. Hate to imagine what has happened to them if they didn't join the green team....
