Alright, so I’m ignorant. What the hell’s with the whole “Man, Bear, Pig” thing? What does that mean? Am I ever to know? Or is it part of some Kafkaesque conspiracy to make me feel stupid?

You know, I guess unelected and therefor unable to wear his ego on his sleeve, Al Gore wore it on his belly. I just woke up seconds ago, this should be fun, or tedious really, I have no idea what I’m thinking, let alone writing.

My broken laptop, the one I punched, comes back from the shop today. As I said, I big edit weekend. Bash has to sneak all his posting in during the weekend in fear of terror, cursing ( and I mean like black magic cursing ) and death from his wife. He’s trying to be a blogger and hold onto his family, silly boy, so I think the rule should be that if you see a Bash post this weekend, you have to have a beer or shot or both. It’s the Pat Dollard.com weekend drinking game. If you pass out by noon, blame not me, for your will is your own.

I have an MRI at four. It’s a Korean joint, and it’s always overbooked, because you just can’t keep news of a “happey ending” MRI facility under wraps. My Dr. has given me that stern face and loudly barked admonitions about heading to Afghanistan before September, by the way, so that’s up in the air. Which is okay. I don’t know that it’s possible for me to hit any war for three weeks and then leave. However, I might be sending Jared, he of the 82nd Airborne in my place, and between his photos and me editing his Army prose, we just might have something there. Yes, that was a shot at the Army, but not in a Stephen King/John Kerry way, a Pat Dollard way. It’s a Marine thing, you see, he said through a eating grin he made no effort to hide. Ahh, Afghanistan, open fields and open battle, beauty and death and God’s work so far from the dark Al Qaeda warrens of Fallujah and Ramadi. War in paradise. It’s always the devil’s work, putting war in places like that, but it has its undeniable upsides.

Soon I may speak with my daughter again. Much to do. Pat Dollard’s wars. I hear they’re making a movie….no they’re not, Pat hasn’t finished the script yet….

Oh yeah, good morning….

With regards to my general health issues and future trips to wars and strip clubs, Bash has requested a draw up a will and leave him the site. What do you think? Will he kill me, though?

And oh yes, faithful legions, you may want to catch this Sunday’s live call-in Blog Talk radio show, 11 PM Eastern, 8 PM Pacific. This week Right Hand Girl will be on, along with Bash, Sgt. Welsh, Mully from YA and my friend Danger Girl from L.A., who is also a close friend of Michael Yon’s. DG wants to discuss a particular issue with regards to illegal immigration in one segment. With this cast of characters, the show seems to be morphing into the poltical “Seinfeld” of internet radio. Do call in please. Welsh will be with the trolls in the chat. He’ll keep blocking and unblocking them just to frustrate them. To listen to the show and call-in simply click on the button on the host channel page at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/welsh or click the button provided below.

You can’t imagine how much I hate Hussein. One you see an individual lie so effortlessly, there’s only one conclusion: they are a garden-variety sociopath. This guy took a bribe from Rezko and lied about it, for Christ’s sake. And I just yet again heard his sorry-ass say “tough diplomacy” was needed to deal with Iran. And of course he never defines what tough diplomacy is, what actually must be said to them. Tough diplomacy means only two things: sanctions, the threat of more sanctions, and the threat of military force. We’re already doing that, so to complain about what Bush is doing is hypocritcal and ridiculous.
