They are a pain in the ass while you are turkey hunting too. I had one come in and attack my turkey decoy on a hunt a couple of weeks ago. Glad the child is ok! We see these guys all the time but they are apparently afraid of our dogs since they avoid our yard. I was a little shocked to see a mountain lion in the yard one night about a year ago though. Grabbed a :gun: and my 3-iron. Fortunately, the 3-iron and a very large rock were all it took to drive it off. I don’t live too far from Chino Hills. Thanks to trash and the easy prey of pets coyotes now inhabit suburban areas where they never historically were. If the lefties have their way and abolish hunting, this is going to happen more and more...similarly to how in CA since the abolishment of Mtn Lion hunting, depredation permits have skyrocketed. I do not sport hunt anymore, but I still love to go out and try and pop a Yote every now and then.
