I'm working for the VT DMV down in White River Junction years ago and a guy walks in to renew his license. He's getting on in his years and he's got a patch on his jacket that says something (I can't remember exactly what) about the division in which he served in WW2, but the patch says "Omaha Beach." My and my coworkers ask him if he was there. Answer: Yes. So I can't resist asking him if he saw "Saving Private Ryan." Answer: Yes.
