I couldn’t do it myself, but realize it has to be done. I was expecting to see that they were going to be shot. They rounded them up and put them to sleep. Very humane.
May 19th, 2008 at 7:52 amI don’t think this is a new thing. In 1989 I had a buddy that signed up to spend a year down under shooting kangaroos. Apparently there are not enough natural predators to keep the kangaroo population in check, and they breed like rabbits.

They’re as common as jackrabbits are in west Texas…except they weight upwards of a 150lbs.
The “Brush Guards” on the front of pick-up trucks here in the U.S. are called “roo catchers” Down Under…and in certain areas they’re on trucks and cars.
