    Excessive force?

    Well, how ’bout avoiding it altogether and stay the hell out of other people’s homes.

    Texas is awesome. No files being charged against the home owner. In CA, we are allowed to throw marsh mellows at them and only if they are facing us and showing threatening behavior. No marsh mellows in the back however, that is a felony!

    3am, startled and shooting at a moving target with a pistol. The fact that he hit him at all is impressive. It is a lot different than shooting at a stationary paper target at the range. I have killed with every weapon we have on the tank and the M9 was by far the hardest. Taking another human’s life is never easy and nobody knows how they will react until faced with that situation. Especially at such close range.

    I wonder how many time the criminal attacked people, women and children in his break ins. Rapist, druggie, break in a house everyday. He made his own world.

    Poor little criminal, I can’t believe anyone would take the life of such an outstanding citizen. This is horrible, I’m outraged. The man was just looking for a place to rest and recharge, so he could go about upholding such high standards. RIP dear B&E, RIP.

    Had the guy shot him in the house there would be no controversy.
    Having shot him outside, in the back, there may be some legal/civil ramifications to this.
    But the mess is a hell of a lot easier to clean up :cool:

    The victim needs to shot his weapon more often to become better familiarized with it.
    That, or it’s uncomfortable in his hand and he needs to find a better suited handgun.
