A Clockwork Orange is by far one of the top movies of all time; right up there with the Godfather parts 1 and 2. One of the greatest opening sceens with the memorable line, “There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dim, and we sat in the Korova Milkbar trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with the evening. The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence. ”
Reading the book was a nightmare though, as you had to flip to the back of the book constantly for definitions of the crazy language used. Malcomb McDowell gave an amazing performance as he did in Caligula.
