The government already has sunk exploratory wells that could produce a couple hundred thousand barrels per day without any additional drilling (more is needed) However long it would take to build a pipeline to extend a branch of Alyeska to ANWAR (should it take more than a year) is how long it will take to get it to market. Unless the environmental wackjobs and the courts hold it up, there is no friggin way it will take ten to twenty years. It will not even take three years to get it to market.
