That happened to me on a motorbike, at night, in the country….kinda scary laying on the pavement in the dark wondering if the bear is going to come after me. He just caught his breath and groaned a lot and lumbered off into the woods. I limped and pushed my crippled bike to the nearest farmhouse. Bent forks on the bike and lots of road rash for me.
